Key Components of SmartOrders

  • Utilize distributor relationships to drive sales and not just take orders.
  • Orders to Approve & Recommended Orders
  • Distributors contact information and assigning a distributor to a product.
  • Perpetual Inventory
  • Invoice Capture

In preparation for the initial SmartOrder:

  • Our team reaches out to the Reps, however, to help drive the message, when you hear from them next, please remind them!
  • Make sure every distributor has a contact email or phone contact – this is where your orders will be sent. No contact information, your orders will sit in Action Required on the Order History Section.

Basic things to ensure accurate data:

  • You must keep your tap line assignments aligned to SmartBar.

For example, if you are pouring Coors light on Line #1 that must match what is showing as line#1 on SmartBar.

  • It would be best if you used the Line Cleaning Function. If not, your on-hands/perpetual inventory will not be accurate and will impact recommended orders.
