Understanding how Recommended Orders & Quantities is calculated and displayed in SmartOrders
- Recommended Quantity value is calculated by using Inventory On-Hand and subtracting the SmartPar value. Recommended value rounds to the nearest full unit of measure.
- Recommended Orders will always appear at the top of the Orders To Approve section

Products and quantities that are currently in an Open Order will not appear in Recommended Orders until the product has been confirmed as Received, inventory on hand is updated, and Recommended Orders suggest product and quantities again as inventory depletes.

Inventory On-Hand will automatically update once an order is confirmed as received.

- Recommended Orders and quantities are available for Draft, Bottle Beer, Liquor, and Wine
For DRAFT beer, the item must be present in On Deck or Upcoming Draft List to be a recommended product. If a draft beer product is not on On Deck or Upcoming Draft List, it will not appear as a recommended item.
