Enhanced Insights

Insights allow users to have a better understanding of product selling power by tapping into Beerboard’s vast customer network and their business

By utilizing real-time rate of sales data, users can make informed decisions about what brands, styles, and categories work for their business.

To begin, navigate to the Insights tab located on the left-hand side indicated by a graph icon. Given the amount of data, allow the database a moment to populate the information based on the controls/filter settings.

To utilize the control panel, click within the area to allow editing of the fields. Set your start and end date, the category such as craft, domestic, etc, the style, and the state. By default, the controls will be set for the duration of the year with all categories, styles and states selected.

Rollback edited controls using the ellipsis above each field to select reset. Should a category, style , or state not populate click refresh on the field you need to reload.

In this example, we have 3 different insight tabs; All Locations, Draft Beer, and Liquor. These are some of the most common insights though additional dashboards can be added to your insights by sending in a request to our analytics team.

Other insights include:

  • Complete LBW summary
  • Package
  • Wine
  • Products that need attention
    • This can cover missing SKUs, unassigned products, and cocktail recipe products that have not been accurately logged
  • Yield Reporting
    •  Exceptions Off brings attention to equipment or sales issues that end users should identify 

The All Locations tab showcases data based on all BeerBoard customers. The All products chart is broken down by:

  • Product
  • Category
  • Style
  • Rank
  • Avgkegs
  • Unique line count
  • Location count
  • Poured kegs
  • Volume share

Note:

  • Null signifies an unidentified property
    • While it is unlikely a user will come across this selection, please notify support if you do so our Product Management Team can remedy it. 
  • Unique line count is based on the total line count for the filtered period
  • avgKegs = how many 1/2 kegs are poured on average, per each tap handle that has distribution, per 30 days
  • poured kegs = total poured kegs (1984 oz kegs) are poured for the filtered period
    • if a product does not sell a keg in a 1/2 barrel (1984 oz keg) then it is converted into a 1/2 barrel (1984 oz keg)
  •  Exceptions Off
    • brings attention to equipment or sales issues that end users should identify

Within the Irish Pub: Draft Beer tab, this data is unique to the user as it encompasses concept specific data. Similar to the All Locations tab, the chart contains the product, category, style, rank, avgkeg, unique line count, location count, poured kegs, volume share.

For users, this will most likely appear as [Business/location name: Draft Beer]
